Visiting our website may involve the transfer and processing of certain personal data in a third country (i.e. outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or the Swiss Confederation). We process or allow the data to be processed only in third countries with a recognized level of data protection, which includes the US processors certified under the “Privacy Shield” or on the basis of special guarantees, such as contractual obligations through so-called standard protection clauses of the EU Commission, the existence of certifications or binding internal data protection regulations (Art. 44 to 49 GDPR). The data processed by the payment service provider includes inventory data, such as name and address, bank data, such as account numbers or credit card numbers, passwords, TANs and checksums, as well as contract, totals and recipient-related information. The processing of this information by the payment service provider is necessary to carry out the transactions. In this respect, PayPal’s privacy policy, available at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full, applies.
  1. Third-party tools

We use tracking and analysis tools to ensure continuous optimization and needs-based design of our website. With the help of tracking measures, it is also possible for us to statistically record the use of our website by visitors and to further develop our online offer for you with the help of the knowledge gained in this way. Based on these interests, the use of the tracking and analysis tools described below is justified in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. The following description of the tracking and analysis tools also shows the respective processing purposes and the processed data. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountainview, CA 94043 USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by these cookies, for example about the time, place and frequency of your use of this website, is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the classic use of Google Analytics, it cannot be ruled out that the cookies set by Google Analytics may also collect other personal data in addition to the IP address. In order to ensure the protection of your privacy to the greatest possible extent, GIGACopper Networks GmbH independently anonymizes the IP addresses of its website visitors. By shortening the IP addresses accordingly, it is ensured that no reference can be made to a specific website visitor. We would like to point out that Google may transfer information received to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will use the information generated by cookies on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymization has been activated on this website, so that the IP address of Google users within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened beforehand. As described above, this reduction is already ensured by GIGA Copper Networks in order to achieve the highest possible level of security. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website by users, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, this offer points out to users that in this case they may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. Users can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the website (including their IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link. The current link is: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. This plugin prevents information about your visit to the website from being transmitted to Google Analytics. Any other analysis is not prevented by this plugin.
